Daljit gave a fitting reply on Instagram where she wrote, “You were in India for three days after getting information about the FIR. Which you just admitted you know about. If the garbage you just printed was true, you would have gone to the police station and told them your side instead of sending it to your PR. After fleeing from India, the police kept asking to meet again and again. Your PR stories will not do me justice and someone like you should be punished.”

She added, “Oh my god, you're not done wanting more publicity. Calling our marriage an event is shameful. In India it is called MARRIAGE, and yes, NRI was written in Marathi by the police. It is not a big deal that the criminal is an NRI or a British citizen! Why did you run away from my country? Is everything you're sending to the press true? You should have sat down in front of the police and told this nonsense you made up. And see if they would have believed.”

On the other hand, Nikhil Patel also wrote a descriptive message on social media reacting to Daljit Kaur's Instagram story. He wrote, “Daljit and I met in Dubai in 2022 and then had our Hindu ceremony in Mumbai, India in March 2023. Immediately after the ceremony, we moved to Nairobi, Kenya where I work and live as a British expatriate. We lived together as a family in Kenya until January 2024 when she returned to India with Jaydon. Our celebration in India was in no way like this, nor was it a “legal” wedding ceremony. Daljeet's pretense that we have entered into a legal union is deliberately deceptive and only intended to support her victim self-portrayal. She made consistent efforts to secure work in India by writing scripts and trying to market her short films, but she did not get the desired success. As a supporting partner, I remained committed to supporting her projects.
He went on to write, “In the last eight months since Dalgiet and Jaydon left Kenya, I have done an intense self-examination on social media. Just four days into the new term, Daljit decided to withdraw Jaydon from his prestigious British International School in Nairobi. She then informed my eldest daughter via voice note and messaged my friends about her intention to leave Kenya permanently and return to India.”
Nikhil expresses his concern that Daljit has not contacted his little girl. He accused Daljeet of a lot of harassment, including cyber harassment. Nikhil went on to say that Daljit's constant harassment negatively affected not only him but also several women in his life, some of whom even sought legal intervention.
