UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024: Central Public Service Commission has announced UPSC CSE Prelims Result 2024 Name List. The Commission announced the Civil Services Result on 1st July 2024; However, the list of names was announced on Friday (July 19). The Civil Services (Primary) Examination, 2024 was held on 16th June. Selected candidates have qualified for admission in Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024. IAS aspirants who appeared for the exam can access the list called UPSC CSE Prelims Result. at upsc.gov.in and https://upsconline.nic.in/.

Further to the press note dated 01/07/2024 declaring the result of Civil Services (Primary) Examination, 2024 by roll number held on 16/06/2024, the name and roll number result of the candidates who have qualified. Admission to Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 is as follows,” the commission said in an official notice.

UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 Result: How to Check Civil Services Prelims Name List?

  1. Visit the official website of Central Public Service Commission here upsc.gov.in and https://upsconline.nic.in/.
  2. On the home page, go to the What's New section.
  3. Click on the link “Written Result (with Name): Civil Services (Primary) Examination, 2024”.
  4. A new webpage will open on the screen.
  5. Your UPSC Prelims 2024 Name List will appear on the screen.

UPSC Civil Services Name List includes details like roll number and name of the candidate. The Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2024 will be held from September 20. The Civil Services (Main) examination will consist of a written test and an interview/personality test. The written examination will consist of 9 papers of traditional essay type in the subjects mentioned in sub-section (B) of Section-II out of which two papers will be of qualifying nature.

Marks obtained for all compulsory papers (Paper-I to Paper-VII) and interview/personality test will be considered for ranking. Candidates who have secured such minimum qualifying marks in the written portion of the Civil Services (Main) Examination as may be fixed by the Commission at its discretion, shall be called for interview/personality test vide sub-section (C) by them. Section-II. The number of candidates to be called for interview/personality test will be twice the number of vacancies to be filled. Interview/Personality Test will carry 275 marks (No minimum qualifying marks.
