This Indian genius surprised Einstein by solving a major problem in physics, then theorized…
Bose was born in Calcutta (Kolkata) in 1894. He studied for Intermediate Science Course at Presidency College. He graduated from Presidency College in 1913 and obtained M.Sc. in 1915 from the College of Science.
The famous scientist Albert Einstein did not have a solution to a problem in physics. For many years he was troubled by the question of quantum physics.
In June 1924, Indian theoretical physicist and mathematician Satyendra Nath Bose solved this problem, surprising eminent scientists. At the time he received the solution from Bose, Einstein was working at the University of Berlin.
Einstein took Bose's observations and incorporated them into his work. The two worked together on a theory known as the Bose-Einstein condensate. Although their tenure together was short, their work emerged as one of the great theories in the history of physics.
Historian Somaditya Banerjee was of the opinion that his work reflected the nature of quantum.
Satyendra Nath Bose was awarded Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India in 1954.
