Extravagant spending in South India is not just reserved for films; Private festivals often steal the spotlight as well. Among numerous cinematic icons, Jr NTR, known for his role in “RRR” is considered to be the grandest wedding of any actor till date. Currently, he is busy shooting for “Deora”, a buzz-making project that marks the debut of Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor in southern cinema.

Jr. NTR married Lakshmi Pranathi on 5 May 2011, an important chapter in his life. Jr. NTR's wedding was a spectacular affair, whose elaborate and meticulous planning caught the attention of the entire nation. The grandeur of the ceremony sparked conversations from far and wide down south, with stunning photos and videos quickly going viral on social media.

Born on 18 March 1992 in Hyderabad, Lakshmi Pranathi was just 18 when she married Jr. NTR, who was 26 at the time. She is the daughter of industrialist Narane Srinivasa Rao. Junior NTR and Lakshmi are proud parents of two beautiful children, adding to their happy family story.

Lakshmi's wedding saree on her special day was nothing short of breathtaking. She wore a yellow colored Kanjeevaram saree which cost a whopping Rs 1 Crore. With 3,000 guests attending the event, the total budget swelled to Rs 100 crore, making it one of the most extravagant weddings in South India. The celebration was not just a union of two hearts but a grand affair that amazed everyone with its magnificence.
