New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday, August 21 Dr. The UGC NET June 2024 exam held at Ghanshyam Singh College of Education, Varanasi has been cancelled. As per the official notification, NTA canceled the second shift exam due to technical glitches. Re-examination will be conducted for all the candidates allotted at the same centre. The testing agency will issue a separate public notification containing information such as the date, time and venue of the competitive examination.

It is to be noted that the UGC NET 2024 examination was scheduled to be held from August 21 to September 4, 2024 in various cities across the country through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 83 subjects. This exam was to be held in 2024. Two shifts. The first shift was to start from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second shift was to start from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The examination was conducted for (i) 'Award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor', (ii) 'Award of Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. and (iii) 'admission to Ph.D. only'.
