Mumbai: A student body has claimed that meat is being banned in a canteen at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. In a post on X, the IIT Bombay unit of the Ambedkar Periyar Phule Study Circle (APPSC), a left-leaning organization, claimed that non-vegetarian food is not allowed in the dining area of 'Amul Canteen'.
There are many canteens in the premises of the institute.
