The man revealed Nasrallah's exact location, other details to Israel
Lending credence to this claim are dozens of fresh Israeli strikes on Hezbollah targets.
New Delhi: Hassan Nasrallah, head of Hezbollah since 1992, was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting an underground bunker in Beirut, Lebanon, on Friday, September 27. Nasrallah and several senior Hezbollah officials were killed in the attack by the Israeli Air Force.
Among the speculations and mysteries surrounding his assassination, some internal reports suggest that a third country besides Lebanon and Israel had gathered detailed information about Nasrallah's exact location and other vital information that could have dealt a fatal blow to Hezbollah.
Inside reports claimed that it was an Iranian infiltrator of the terrorist group who was providing every detail of information to Israel. It is also claimed that the same network of Israeli moles led to the detonation of thousands of pagers, walkie-talkies, TV sets and solar panels in Lebanon. This proved the fact that the Israeli intelligence network penetrated deep into Lebanon and Hezbollah.
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, the Iranian mole had informed Israel of Nasrallah's location before the strike. Nasrallah was attending a meeting with several top members of the group when the missiles hit the underground headquarters in Beirut.
This claim is lent credence by Israeli strikes on dozens of fresh Hezbollah targets in Lebanon on Sunday, September 29, 2024, which killed senior Hezbollah commander Nabil Kouk.
According to other reports, Hassan Nasrallah's daughter Zainab Nasrallah was also killed in an Israeli airstrike in South Beirut on Friday, September 27.
