New Delhi: The Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued an alert with high severity for Google Chrome users affecting Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems. The central agency said multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Google Chrome for desktop that could be used by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on a target system.

These vulnerabilities exist in Google Chrome for desktop due to non-initialized usage at dawn; Out of bounds read in WebTransport and insufficient data validation at dawn. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by tricking a victim into visiting a specially crafted request,” CERT-In said in a press release (dated August 7).
