Shreyas Talpade has finally reacted to a viral post claiming that the actor has passed away. He assured his fans and followers about his safety by sharing an update on his official social media handle. As well as slamming the trolls for 'causing unnecessary anxiety', he noted that the claims had hurt his family, especially his young daughter.

Shreyas Talpade said in a lengthy Instagram post, 'He is alive, happy and healthy. “I understand that humor has its place, when it is misused it can do real harm,” he said, expressing his gratitude to all his friends and well-wishers after hearing the hoax news. “Everyone, I want to assure everyone that I am alive, happy and healthy. I have come across a viral post claiming my demise. While I understand that humor has its place, it can do real harm when misused. What one may have started as a joke is now causing unnecessary anxiety and playing with the emotions of those who care about me, especially my family (sic).

In a note shared on Instagram, he slammed trolls for hurting people's sentiments and playing with his family's sentiments. Shreyas added, “To those who have pushed this stuff forward, let me give you pause and consider the impact. Many people have prayed earnestly for my well-being, and it is disappointing to use humor in a way that will hurt feelings, hurt my loved ones, and disrupt our lives. When you spread such rumours, it doesn't just affect the targeted person – it also affects their families, especially the children who may not fully understand the situation but still feel the emotional distress (sic).
