Actress Shilpa Shetty, on Tuesday, shared a sneak peek into the Kanya Pujan at her residence, on the event of Ashtami, giving an lovely glimpse of her daughter Samisha. Shilpa took to her official Instagram deal with, the place she enjoys 32.4 million followers, and dropped a reel, whereby we will see her washing the little toes of Samisha, and kissing her. The actress is seen doing aarti of her child lady. Ashtami, the eighth day of Navratri, holds significance in Hindu tradition as a day devoted to the worship of 9 ladies, symbolizing the 9 types of Goddess Durga, often known as Navadurga. These younger ladies are revered as manifestations of the pure power of creation, embodying the divine female energy. In line with Hindu mythology, it was on the ninth day of Navaratri that Goddess Shakti assumed the type of Goddess Durga to conquer the demon Mahisasura, upon the request of the devas.

Through the Kanya Puja ceremony, devotees wash and clear the toes of those 9 younger ladies as a mark of reverence for the Goddess. They provide new garments as presents to the ladies, recognizing and honoring the female energy inherent in them.
