NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start Round 2 Registration Process on 5th September 2024 for Round 2 of MCC NEET UG Counselling. Who is not eligible for second round of allotment?

Answer (a) Candidate disqualified due to insufficient documents as per eligibility criteria. MC C- UG

(b) Those who have not registered in Round 1 or Round 2.

Can a candidate participate in Round 2 without submitting fresh choices (based on choices submitted before Round 1)?

A fresh selection must be submitted by the eligible candidates as mentioned above to be considered for seat allotment during Round-2. If the candidate does not submit the new choice(s) during the choice filling period, the candidate will not be considered for seat allotment during Round – 2 and will retain the seat already allotted (joined), if any.

Who is eligible for second round of allotment?

• Candidates eligible for seat allotment in the second round will belong to one of the following groups:
• Group-I: Registered candidates who did not get seat allotment in the first round.
• Group-II: Registered candidates who have secured seats and whose first round of allotted seats are canceled during document verification while registering for admission, will be considered for allotment of seats in the next round of seat allotment, with changed category, subject to availability. Seats in respective categories.
• Group-III: Candidates who have reported to the allotted institution in the first round of allotment and have expressed their willingness as yes for the second round of upgradation.
• Group-IV: Candidates who have been allotted seats but have not joined.
• Group V: Candidates who have resigned online

Can I quit/resign after I join second round of counseling for AIQ/Demed/Central/AIIMS/JIPMER/Nursing?

Once you join the 2nd round seat, you are allowed to upgrade for round 3. However, if you decide to join and then resign, you will forfeit your security deposit.
