Gurucharan Singh of TMKOC fame revealed that he has a huge debt of Rs 1.2 crore and said that he eats food from Guruji's ashram as he is on liquid diet.

Actor Gurucharan Singh Sodhi Famous for appearing above Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma Recently in a chat with Siddharth Kannan shared some details about his sudden disappearance since a month and the financial difficulties he is currently going through. Singh made a shocking revelation about his debt of nearly Rs 1.2 crore. He was last seen on April 22 and was seen again almost 25 days later. This month, Singh was seen in Mumbai for the first time since his disappearance.

During the discussion, Gurucharan revealed that he is on a liquid diet. He said in Hindi, “Aaj 34th Din Hai Aur Main Khana Nahin Khaya Hai. Kuch jaga mai kha dita hu jeg Guru ji ka ashram hai vahan jata hu ur path hota hai to somwar ko hi jata hu because somwar ko hi vahan par samosa meeta hai ya bread pakoda ya saath mein chai ya mitha (Today is the 34th day). I haven't eaten. Sometimes, I eat at places like Guruji's ashram, where I eat samosas, bread pakodas, tea and sweets on Mondays.

The TMKOC fame further revealed, “4 sal ho gaye hai, 4 sal se mai bahu saare kamar karna ki koshish kar raha hu. Trying to do business has failed. To ab thak gaya hu, ab apna paisa ana chahiye. Means income. That work came from matches. Tank mommy daddy ka khayal rak sakal. Aur mai apne karze utra saku… Jo bank aur EMI ka wah wo almost 55-60 lacs. Friends also gave almost that much. So its almost 1.2 crores (4 years and since 4 years I have been trying to do various jobs and business but I have failed in everything. I am tired now and I need to start earning money so that I can earn money. My Care of parents I want to pay off my debt (sic).

Gurucharan Singh went missing suddenly in April, heading to the airport to fly from Delhi to Mumbai. His flight was scheduled for the evening of April 22 from Delhi to Mumbai, but he never reached his intended destination. Miraculously, he returned home safe and sound almost a month later on May 18.
