Rishabh Shetty is currently celebrating his recent win at the 70th National Film Awards. Rishabh's film Kantara won two major awards: the first for Best Film (Wholesome Entertainment), and the second for Best Actor, which went to Rishabh himself. Kantara's fascinating plot and its strong connection with religious beliefs and folklore left the audience in awe. The film was a huge hit at the box office earning over 450 crores.

Talking about his big win, Rishabh Shetty said, “I am truly overwhelmed with this national award for Kantara. I sincerely thank everyone who was a part of this journey, the cast, technicians and especially the incredible team at Humble Films. The audience has made this film and their support fills me with a deep sense of responsibility.”

He added, “I am committed to work even harder to bring even better films to our audience. With utmost respect, I dedicate this award to our Kannada audience, Daiva Dancers and Appu Sir. I thank God that we have reached this moment with the blessings of the gods.”

Meanwhile, many actors in the industry have congratulated Rishabh after his win. Allu Arjun took to his X handle (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “Congratulations @shetty_rishab on your well deserved Best Actor win for Kantara! Your heartwarming performance still makes me happy…Also, congrats to the entire team of Kantara for winning the best popular film award.

Yash also congratulated him and said, “Heartiest congratulations to all the winners of the National Awards. A special shout out to our very own @shetty_rishab, @VKiragandur, Prashanth Neel and the entire @hombalefilms team for a fitting recognition for Kantara and KGF 2. There are many more heights here. Shot in Keradi, a coastal village in Karnataka, the film aims to faithfully portray the traditions of Kambala and Bhoot Kola.
