Ranbir Kapoor is in the headlines after appearing on a podcast with Nikhil Kamath. During the conversation the actor opened up on various issues and among them was his thoughts on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Talking about this, Ranbir said that he admires PM Modi.
The actor said, “I don't think much about politics. But all of us actors and directors went to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi 4 to 5 years ago. You see him on television, you see how he speaks – he's a great orator. I remember the moment we were sitting and he walked in. There is a magnetic attraction about him. He came and sat down. He spoke something personal to each person.”
The actor added, “My father was going for treatment at that time, so he asked me how the treatment was going, what was happening and all that. He spoke to Alia some more, Vicky Kaushal some more, Karan Johar some more. Everything was very personal. “
Ranbir said that effort is one quality that will be seen in every great man. He added, “You see such an effort in great men. They try – they don't need to, but they do. Like Shah Rukh Khan. There are many such great men. It says a lot about them. “
Nikhil Kamath also shared an anecdote about the Prime Minister. He mentioned that he had the privilege of being around him at a couple of events. “I respect him and I admire him. Once we were in US, Washington DC and he used to speak in a room at 8am with us and some American businessmen. Then at 11 am he would go elsewhere to give a speech and then at 1 pm he would sit with the Vice President. Then he would do something at 4pm, something at 8pm and something at 11pm. By 8pm I was exhausted. After two days I was feeling sick. Then he was going to Egypt to do the same thing again. This is his energy at his age. There is a lot to learn from him,” said Nikhil.
Recently, Ranbir has opened up on various topics during podcasts including his relationship with wife Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha. For the first time, the actor also addressed the criticism he faced for his film Animal. Ranbir blamed social media for creating so much negativity around the film.
