New Delhi: The University of Delhi on Saturday announced the physical test schedule for those seeking admission through Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) q in the undergraduate academic session 2024-2025.

New Delhi: Delhi University on Saturday announced the physical test schedule for those seeking admission through Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) quota in the undergraduate academic session 2024-2025. As per the schedule, trials for activities like Indian classical dance, Hindi debate, Indian classical and light music and drama will begin from August 12. The tests for sports quota students will start from August 20 and will continue till August 22.

Students seeking admission through ECA quota must visit their respective test centers to give their performance test. Those who qualify the physical tests will be given relaxation on their academic merit for admission to certain programmes. Physical tests for creative writing in Hindi and English will be held at Hansraj College on 16th August.

The trials for Indian Classical Dance will be held from August 12 to August 17, Indian Folk Dance from August 20 to August 21, Western Dance from August 21 to 22 and Choreography from August 23 at Mata Sundari College. The Hindi debate tests will be conducted from August 12 to August 13 and the English subject tests from August 13 to August 22. Their test center is Ramjas College.

For digital media like photography, film making and animation, the physical test will be conducted on August 20, 21 and 22 at Maharaja Agrasen College. The fine arts tests for subjects like sketching and painting will start from August 20 and will continue till August 23 and for sculpture it will be held on August 23 at Rajdhani College. The tests will be conducted for Indian Classical and Light Music from August 12 to 22, Western Classical and Light Music from August 22 to 23, Indian Instrumental from August 20 to 21, Western Instrument from August 22 to 23. Theater auditions will be held at Miranda House College from August 12 to 21. Tests for the quiz will be held on August 20 at Daulat Ram College and on August 13 at Guru Tegh Bahadur College. Moreover, tests will be held from 21st to 22nd August for Yoga and PGDAV College.

Students must check the test timings available on the official website of Delhi University to appear for the exam. This year, Delhi University has allotted five percent of the total seats in each college for ECA and sports categories.
