New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has issued an important notice to the concerned, prohibiting any kind of demonstrations/dharnas/mass gatherings within 100 meters radius of the university's administration block. In a notice, the university said, “In view of the commencement of the new session and the organization of various activities by student organizations, all stakeholders of the campus are requested to maintain discipline and peace in the campus while participating in any kind of gathering. .”

“All stakeholders of the University have drawn attention to the directive of the Hon'ble High Court prohibiting any form of demonstration/dharna/mass gathering within 100 meters radius of the administrative block of the University,” the statement said.

Anyone found engaging in unauthorized activities should immediately report to the Security Branch. The administration strongly reiterates its commitment to zero tolerance against any form of violence or indiscipline on campus and appeals to all campus stakeholders to refrain from all such activities.
