Neha Bhasin, one of the famous singers of Bollywood, recently revealed that she is suffering from Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD), causing her fans to worry a lot. Through an Instagram post, Neha said that her doctor told her that she also has fibromyalgia.
Neha expressed on Instagram that she has not been well for a long time. Through a social media post, the singer revealed, “I have so much to say, but I really don't know where or how to begin with the helpless hell I'm going through. Then, knowing for years that something was wrong. Finally, more medical awareness is diagnosed today. (2 years on paper, I know since I was 20)' which led to proper treatment of mental and hormonal disorders. All of this led to a big realization and then the recognition that, at least for now, my nervous system feels broken.
Neha candidly shared her battle with mental health issues including fatigue, body aches, anxiety and recurring depression. She revealed that her coping mechanisms are yoga and journaling. She added in her post, “My monthly PMDD still finds a way to throw me back into the same old dark hole or dig several new ones. Is it my failure? My OCPD asks. It flares up with what my doctor calls fibromyalgia, which I'm now accepting.”
Concluding her post, Neha said, “I have exercised. I've danced and performed in pain for years, I think I'm just tight and overstretched because of it. My doctor has told me not to do anything for a while.”
