NEET UG 2024 Counselling: MCC Round 1 Choice Filling Process to Start from August 16
New Delhi: Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the selection process for NEET UG 2024 Counseling on August 16. MCC NEET UG 2024 Counseling selection-locking process will be completed on 20 August 2024 by 11:55 PM. While the seat allotment process will start from August 21, the competent authorities will announce the results on August 23. Soon after the declaration of NEET seat allotment result, selected students will be allowed to report to medical institutes and colleges. 24 August and 29 August 2024.
NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Check Important Dates
- Registration/Payment: From 14th August, 2024 to 20th August, 2024 (up to 12:00 PM) Payment facility will be available as per server time only till 20th August, 2024 at 03:00 PM server time
- Choice Filling/Locking: From 16th August, 2024 to 20th August, 2024 (Upto 11:55 PM on 20th August, 2024) Server Time Only
- Choice Locking will be available from 20 August 2024 04:00 PM to 20 August 2024 11:55 PM Server Time
- Seat Allotment Process: 21st August, 2024 to 22nd August, 2024
- Result : 23rd August
- Reporting / Joining: 24th August, 2024 to 29th August, 2024
- Data Verification by Institutions of Joining Candidates Data Sharing by MCC: 30th August to 31st August 2024
After seat allotment result, MCC will start round 2 registration process for NEET UG 2024 counseling from 5th September. As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET (UG) is a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. [(NEET (UG)] For admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
Admission to all seats in Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses will be done through NEET (UG) – 2024. The following seats are available under different quotas:
- All India Quota Seats
- State Govt Quota Seats
- Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities
- State/Management/NRI quota seats in private medical/dental colleges or any private university
- Central pool quota seats
- All the seats are in private unaided/aided minority/minority medical colleges including NRI quota as well as management quota.
- All India AIIMS Institutions/JIPMER.
- Counseling for successful candidates for Central Institutions (ABVIMS and RML Hospital/VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/Central Universities (including DU/BHU/AMU)/Central Institutions with 85% State Quota seats 15% All India Quota and 100% Internal seats AIIMS/ JIPMER and will be conducted by Deemed University, MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical/Dental Courses. MCC only registers for AFMC and forwards data of registered candidates to AFMC authorities for admission process. DU/BHU and other universities can use the marks for any other relevant courses offered by them.
