New Delhi: The office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi issued a statement on August 19 that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Ukraine on August 23 on an official visit to Ukraine's National Flag Day.

“On August 23, National Flag Day of Ukraine, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Ukraine. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine in the history of our bilateral relations. During this visit, in particular, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation will be discussed with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. A number of documents between Ukraine and India are expected to be signed,” read the statement.
