Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio is trying to capture the market with its unique plans and low prices. Now, the company is tapping entertainment enthusiasts who want to stream their favorite content on OTT channels to their mobile phones at very low cost.
The company is coming up with two such plans, with a strategy to keep other telcos on edge this festive season. Jio offers its members only Rs. 175 and they can enjoy 10 OTT services as a free subscription with a validity of 28 days. The second plan offers 12 OTT services with the same validity period.

Jio's Rs. 175 plan offering 10 OTT services and where the user gets an additional 10GB data to stream their favorite content, but no calling and SMS facility.
Other plans offer access to 12 OTT services for Rs 448 with 2GB additional data per day. User gets free calling service and can send 100 messages. The company has listed these OTT services – SonyLIV, ZEE5, JioCinema Premium, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, SunNXT, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, Hoichoi and FanCode.
