According to a stock exchange filing, the company said that Reliance Industries Uruguay Petroquimica SA (Reliance Uruguay) has been dissolved and ceased to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the company effective September 26, 2024.
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries on 27 September announced the voluntary liquidation of its wholly-owned subsidiary Reliance Industries Uruguay Petroquimica SA (Reliance Uruguay).
According to a stock exchange filing, the company said that Reliance Industries Uruguay Petroquimica SA (Reliance Uruguay) has been dissolved and ceased to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the company effective September 26, 2024.
The company in its assessment found that Reliance Uruguay is a non-operating unit and has zero contribution to the company's net worth in the financial year 2023-24.
The certificate is issued after the liquidation process is officially completed. It confirmed the termination of Reliance Uruguay as a subsidiary. Reliance Industries had invested Rs 0.65 crore in Reliance Uruguay.
Shares of Reliance Industries rose by Rs 51.70, or 1.72 percent, on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
