AirAsia: As part of its drive to expand operations in India, budget carrier AirAsia will soon introduce a 'cinematic in-flight' experience for moviegoers at select theaters across the country. The innovative campaign is part of the airline's efforts to attract Indian passengers to travel to enchanting destinations in Asia, Australia and beyond through AirAsia's network.

In a statement, a senior AirAsia official said the initiative aims to showcase the airline's destinations as part of the moviegoer experience in over 130 select theaters across 12 cities over the next six months.

AirAsia's Chief Commercial Officer said, “The initiative aims to invite Indian travelers to explore the hidden gems of Asia and Australia and beyond through its network that will soon connect 16 cities in India to over 130 destinations via Malaysia and Thailand.” Paul Carroll.

Carroll also announced that moviegoers at these select theaters will have a chance to win AirAsia tickets anywhere on AirAsia's network.

He said that as part of the outreach initiative, AirAsia is also collaborating with more than 130 local travel content creators to showcase its destinations in Asia, Australia and beyond, in bustling cities, serene beaches, historic sites and vibrant local cultures.

“We are excited to unveil an innovative partnership with Cube Cinema. Soon, the immersive AirAsia 'cinematic in-flight' experience will be in 130 cinemas across India for six months and we look forward to more meaningful engagement with moviegoers, who are travel enthusiasts here, through this initiative,” said Carroll. .
