Vabilisetty Mohan Abhyas' hard work and dedication finally paid off, as he secured the 5th rank in the Telangana State Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) and the 1st rank in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, before scoring high marks in the JEE (Advanced).

Every year, lakhs of aspirants appear for the prestigious IIT JEE engineering entrance exam, but only a few get the chance to study in world-renowned institutes. We are going to talk about a samosa seller's son who cleared IIT JEE in 2017 and secured 64th rank.

Meet Vabilisetty Mohan Abhyas from Hyderabad.

Mohan, the son of a samosa seller, wanted to study To help relieve his parents from their financial handicap.

His father was overjoyed when he heard this news. “We have been selling samosas for the last 13 years to earn our living, to educate our son. Finally he scored well in JEE (Advanced) and we are very happy,” he was quoted as saying by a news agency.

Abhyas's parents always encouraged him during his preparation. Vabilisetty Mohan Abhyas studied at IIT Bombay and is currently working as a Software Engineer at Rubric Inc.
