After graduating from BITS Pilani and gaining experience as a software engineer at Google, Anudeep started preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE). Despite a promising career in the tech industry, he decided to resign and pursue his passion to serve the country by becoming a civil servant. Anudeep sat for UPSC for the first time in 2012, but failed to pass, but his persistence paid off when he secured a place in the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in the second attempt in 2013.
Anudeep Durishetti created history by securing the prestigious AIR 1 in UPSC CSE 2017. He scored 1,126 out of 2025 marks. He holds the record for highest marks in UPSC exam.
Anudeep attributes his success to his family. Their emotional support played a vital role in keeping him focused on his studies and achieving his goals.
