She is a 90s actress who started her career by promoting the handicraft products of her family business. Born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, she moved to Mumbai to find an advertising agency to promote her family's handicraft factory. In between, she got an opportunity to model for a saree brand with an advertising agency. Soon after that assignment, she became the face of several other brands. Because of these modeling opportunities, she gave up her passion for running a handicraft factory and entered the world of professional modeling entirely. She became so involved in the business that she won the Eves Weekly competition in 1990. Soon after, she started taking assignments for international fashion shows.
She mainly acted in Hindi films as well as Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Her first role was in Sanjay Gupta's film 'Rama Shastra'.
