MCC Round 1 Registration Starts Today at mcc.nic.in; Application Stages, Seat Allotment Procedure
NEET UG Counseling 2024: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate Counseling 2024 from today, August 14. The counseling process will take place for 1,09,145 MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and 27,868 BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) seats. Apart from this, around 1,000 BSc Nursing seats will be allotted through NEET counseling in addition to AYUSH and Veterinary courses across India.
Here are the important dates and process details for the counseling rounds:
Round 1: The registration window for Round 1 is open until noon on August 20, with payment windows aligned accordingly. Between August 14 and 15, participating institutes and the National Medical Commission will verify the preliminary seat matrix. Thereafter, the choice-filling window will open on August 16 and close at 11:55 pm on August 20, with choice locking scheduled between 4 pm and 11:55 pm on August 20. The first round seat allotment result will be announced on August. 23, then candidates should report to their designated institutes between 24th to 29th August.
Round 2: For the second round of counselling, seat matrix verification by institutes will take place from September 4 to 5. The registration process will start on September 5 and will end on September 10 in the afternoon, the payment facility will continue till 3 pm on the same day. . Choice filling for Round 2 will start on September 6 and end on September 10 at 11:55 pm, while choice locking will be scheduled on September 10 between 4 and 11:55 pm. Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on 13th September. , marking another important milestone in the NEET UG 2024 counseling process.
