Speaking to a media portal, Bajpayee said, “You know, how I overcame it? concern I mean, I've had a wave of anxiety in my life, you know. i don't know I've got a different ability,” the Gulmohar actor further revealed, “When I'm down and out, I try to come back aggressively. I would sit in the room and feel anxious and do nothing. But I don't give myself any credit. I am like that. I fight it out. And like a hungry tiger, when I get frustrated and a bit depressed, I start working very hard and make myself the best version of myself,” he explained, comparing his approach to a hunter's relentless pursuit of survival.

Bajpayee is not just protecting himself, he is trying to fight people in his sphere of influence. It is predicated on surprising those close to us who are overwhelmed by stress, with the aim of encouraging them to express their genuine feelings instead of wallowing in discomfort. This offbeat trick is effectively presented by him in an actor's workshop.

He continued, “When my friends were going through a tough time, I would take them out for a movie, a drink, or if nothing worked, I would push them—make them cry, scream, abuse me, whatever. To express them. Because the lower they go, the worse it gets. It's good for them to get out, they express themselves, which is very important.”

Arun's journey in the film 'Gulmohar' echoes Bajpayee's strong belief in the power of facing anxiety openly and conquering it. Arun's story is about acknowledging his shortcomings, as well as those of his parents, and ultimately brings him to a place of peace and acceptance. Bajpai, using the character of Arun, explores the turmoil caused by the conflict of identity, sense of belonging and family tension, weaving a story that hits close to home and weaves a deeply emotional heartwarming story.
