As the Ganesh festival approaches, Maharashtra is all set to embrace the festival with all its grandeur. To meet the increasing travel demand during this period, Central Railway has released 222 special Ganpati trains for the festival. These dedicated trains are designed to streamline the booking process and ensure that more passengers can secure confirmed tickets. The reservation of these Ganpati special trains is now available online from 7th August.

Western Railway has also announced new special trains from Mumbai. Interestingly, these trains have already been opened for advance booking. Besides, these special Ganapati Utsav trains will run from Mumbai Central and Thokur, Sawantwadi Road, Bandra Terminus and Kudal.

Ganpati Special Train Services: Complete List

Mumbai-Ratnagiri Special Train

  • 6, 7, 13, 14 September: LTT Mumbai-Ratnagiri Bi-Weekly Special Train (8 services) – 01031 LTT departs Mumbai at 08:00 and reaches Ratnagiri at 04:50 the next day.
  • September 7, 8, 14, 15: 01032 departs Ratnagiri at 08:40 and arrives LTT Mumbai at 17:15 on the same day, stopping at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda. Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road.

Panvel-Ratnagiri Weekly Special Train

  • 8 Sep, 15: 01443 departs Panvel at 04:40 and reaches Ratnagiri at 11:50 on the same day.
  • Sep 7, 14: 01444 departs Ratnagiri at 17:50 and reaches Panvel next day at 01:30 with stops at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road.

Pune-Ratnagiri weekly special train

  • September 7, 14: 01447 departs Pune at 00:25 and reaches Ratnagiri at 11:50 on the same day.
  • 8th September, 15: 01448 departs Ratnagiri at 17:50 and stops at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavla, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda and arrives Pune next day at 17:00. , Aravali Road, and Sangameshwar Road.

Panvel-Ratnagiri Special Train

  • September 11: 01441 departs Panvel at 16:40 and reaches Ratnagiri at 11:50 on the same day.
  • September 10: 01442 departs Ratnagiri at 17:50 and arrives Panvel at 13:30 next day stopping at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road.

Pune-Ratnagiri weekly special train

  • September 10: 01445 departs Pune at 00:25 and arrives Ratnagiri at 11:50 on the same day.
  • 11th September: 01446 departs Ratnagiri at 17:50 and stops at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavla, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali and reaches Pune next day at 05:00. Road, and Sangameshwar Road.

Bandra Terminus – Kudal – Bandra Terminus Weekly Special (09015/09016)

  • Train No. 09015 will run on Thursdays (September 5, 12 and 19). It will leave Bandra Terminus at 2:40 PM and reach Kudal at 5:40 AM the next day.
  • Train No. 09016 will run from Kudal on Fridays (September 6, 13 and 19). It will depart from Kudal at 6.45 am and reach Bandra Terminus at 9.30 pm on the same day.
