India Post GDS Recruitment 2024: Department of Posts has started accepting applications for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS), Branch Post Masters (BPM) and Assistant Branch Post Masters (ABPM) posts. This department comes under the Ministry of Communications. The recruitment drive aims to fill 44,228 posts across the country. Interested and eligible candidates can register for these posts by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The official application reads: “The selection of shortlisted applicants will be purely based on the marks/data provided by the applicant while submitting the final online application. However, selection will be subject to physical verification of data/marks furnished in the online application along with original certificates/mark sheets etc.”

Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 100. However, women applicants, SC/ST applicants, PwD applicants and transwomen applicants will not have to pay any fee.
