Farmers registered for PM Kisan Yojana must complete their e-KYC which is mandatory to avail the benefits of the scheme. The rule mandates that only those farmers who have completed their e-KYC and their land verification requirements will be given the benefit of the scheme.

Requirements of PM Kisan Yojana

As per the rules of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, only those farmers who have completed their e-KYC and their land verification requirements will be given the benefit of this scheme.
How to complete e-KYC online for PM-Kisan?
- Visit the official website of PM Kisan (https://pmkisan.gov.in/)
- Click on “Farmer's Corner”.
- Click on “E-KYC”.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click on “Get OTP”.
- Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and press submit.
- Farmers can also complete e-KYC using the facial authentication method available on the PM-Kisan app.
Complete KYC Offline
If for some reason any registered farmer is unable to complete the e-KYC process online, they can go to their nearest common.
Service Center (CSC) or State Service Center to complete biometric-based authentication where their iris or fingerprint will be scanned to fulfill KYC requirements.
PM-Kisan Scheme: Eligibility
As per the rules of PM-Kisan scheme, land holding farmers and their families who own cultivable land are eligible for the benefits of the scheme. Besides, small and marginal farmers with up to 2 hectares of land can also register under PM-Kisan and avail the benefits of the scheme.
The Narendra Modi government has asserted that the benefit of the scheme has reached all farmers across the country without the involvement of any middlemen due to the farmer-centric digital infrastructure.
About PM Kisan Yojana
PM-Kisan Yojana is a central government scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February to provide financial assistance to landholding farmers. Under the scheme, eligible farmers are paid Rs 6,000 per annum, transferred on a periodic basis in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
The 17th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme was released in early June this year.
