Haryana School Holidays for July and August, Check Complete Schedule
Along with August, the state administration has also announced the list of holidays for the last week of July.
New Delhi: Students of schools under Haryana Board will get 10 days holidays including Saturday and Sunday. The state government announced the list of holidays for the month of August and gave this information.
According to a report by Punjab Kesari, the state administration has announced the list of holidays for the last week of July along with August.
According to the statement, apart from two Sundays on July 21 and 28, July 31 will be a holiday to mark Udham Singh Martyr's Day.
Below is the list of August school holidays in Haryana
- August 4: Sunday
- August 7: Hariyali Teej
- August 10: Second Saturday
- August 11: Sunday
- 15th August : Independence Day
- August 16: Compensation holiday announced
- August 18: Sunday
- August 19: Rakshabandhan
- August 25: Sunday
- August 26: Janmashtami
Meanwhile, Uttara Kannada District Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lakshmipriya had earlier declared holiday for all schools and PU colleges in Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, Bhatkal, Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur, Dandeli, in view of heavy rains in Karnataka and Kerala. Monday and Joida taluka, PTI reported, citing a 'red alert' issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
