India Post GDS Merit List 2024: Department of Posts (India Post) is all set to declare India Post GDS Merit List 2024 anytime soon. India Post Gramik Dak Sevak First Merit List can be downloaded by visiting the official website of India Post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Along with the merit list, the department is expected to announce the India Post GDS cut-off list.
A recruitment drive is underway to fill Gramin Dak Sevak posts in 23 mandals across the country. This state-wise recruitment allocates different posts in each state, including 2,718 posts in Rajasthan, 2,558 in Bihar, 4,588 in Uttar Pradesh, 4,011 in Madhya Pradesh and 1,338 in Chhattisgarh. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of conversion of marks/grades/marks obtained in 10th standard secondary school examination of recognized boards aggregated to 4 decimal accuracy percentage.
The list of applicants selected for affiliation will be published by the department on its website and GDS online portal. After declaration of result, selected candidates will be informed about result and physical verification dates etc. through SMS on their registered mobile number as well as through email on registered email addresses.
Selected candidates are required to attend the designated authority for physical verification of documents. Candidates are required to carry the following documents in original and two self-attested photocopies while appearing for document verification, which may be:-
- mark sheet
- Proof of identity
- Caste certificate
- PWD Certificate
- EWS certification
- Transgender Certificate
- Date of Birth Proof
- Medical Certificate issued by Medical Officer of any Government Hospital/Government Clinic/Government Primary Health Center etc. (Mandatory)
- Certificate issued by competent authority regarding knowledge of tribal/local dialects in case of engagement in Arunachal Pradesh State.
