NEET MDS 2024: The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the round 2 registration process for NEET MDS 2024 counseling next week. Seat allotment result will be declared on 31st July, Choice filling will be available on 28th July 2024 till 11:55 PM. There will be four rounds of AIQ counseling namely Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round , and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round (SLA(C) No. 10487 of 2021 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India). Open space-shelter free includes:
- 50% All India Quota Seats
- 50% seats of BHU
- 50% seats of AMU
- 50% All India Quota Seats of DU/Central Institute
Fifty percent (50%) seats in All India Quota will be offered by Delhi University. For remaining 50% seats, candidates who have completed BDS from DU are eligible for 50% internal quota in Delhi University. Check the reservation policy of Delhi University (DU) for AIQ seats and internal seats.

The reservation policy of the central government is as follows.
- SC-15%
- ST-7.5%
- OBC-(Non-Creamy Layer) As per Central OBC List-27%
- EWS-as per Central Govt Rules-10%
- PwD- Horizontal Reservation as per NMC Rules- 5%
As per MCC NEET MDS 2024 information bulletin, the reservation of seats under PWD category is 5% in AIQ and twenty one (21) benchmark disabilities as per provisions of Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 and NMC. rule
Candidates who want to avail 5% PWD reservation in PG seats of Govt/Central Medical Institutions should obtain Disability Certificate from designated Disability Centers as per 21 Benchmark Disability given under RPWD Act 2016 and NMC Rules, as per attached list. Annexure-2 (Check Information Bulletin). Certificate issued by any other hospital/board will not be accepted.

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling: Eligibility condition for quota under DU
For Delhi University Quota: “Candidate must have passed Final BDS Examination (for MDS Course) from Delhi University and have satisfactorily completed one year compulsory rotating internship by 30th June of the year of admission and must submit their internship completion certificate here. Entry Time,” reads the information bulletin. Eligibility condition for internal quota is provided by DU.
