Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 have registered a 40% increase in pre-orders in India. With advanced AI features and sophisticated design, these foldables set a new benchmark for premium smartphones.

New Delhi – Samsung has reported unprecedented pre-orders for its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. In the first 24 hours, pre-orders for this sixth generation model have increased by 40% compared to the previous generation. A milestone in the history of Samsung in India.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 began in India on July 10, coinciding with the global launch. Along with Samsung's recently launched Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch7, Galaxy Buds3 Pro, and Galaxy Buds3 ecosystem devices, these cutting-edge smartphones will be available in India from July 24, 2024.

Manufactured at Samsung's Noida factory, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are the slimmest and lightest in the series, featuring symmetrical designs with straight edges. Enhanced durability is ensured with Armor Aluminum and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, providing extra protection against everyday wear and tear.

Both models are powered by the Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, providing high-level CPU, GPU, and NPU performance, optimized for AI processing and enhanced graphics. This advanced processor ensures seamless multitasking, superior gaming experience and enhanced camera capabilities.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 includes several AI-powered features such as Note Assist, Composer, Sketch to Image, Interpreter, Photo Assist and Instant Slow-Mo, which boost productivity on its 7.6-inch screen. It also features a large vapor chamber for extended gaming sessions and ray tracing for realistic graphics, with a display brightness of up to 2,600 nits for immersive viewing.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 offers new customization and creativity features, allowing users to make the most of every moment. Its 3.4-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow enables AI-assisted functions without opening the device. The new FlexCam includes auto zoom for optimal framing, and the upgraded camera system includes a 50MP wide and 12MP ultra-wide sensor, which supports 2x optical zoom and 10x AI zoom. The Z Flip 6 also features enhanced battery life and a vapor chamber for the first time.

Price and availability

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 starts at INR 164,999 (12GB+256GB), while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is priced at INR 109,999 (12GB+256GB).

Samsung also introduced AI-infused Galaxy Ecosystem products, with the Galaxy Watch7 starting at INR 29,999 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra starting at INR 59,999. The new Galaxy Buds3 is priced at INR 14,999, while the Galaxy Buds3 Pro is priced at INR 19,999.
