The Diary of West Bengal director Sanoj Mishra is reported missing. According to recent reports, Mishra's wife Dhutti Mishra is expected to file an FIR regarding his disappearance. According to media reports, the director went to Kolkata after being called by the Kolkata Police. Since then, he has not been in contact since his phone was switched off for the last 48 hours.
Mishra's family strongly believes that his disappearance is related to the threats he received because of his film. The director's wife suspects that he is in grave danger. She also addressed the media and revealed that both her husband's mobile numbers are switched off, which is a matter of great concern for her.
Meanwhile, The Diary of West Bengal is slated to release on 30 August 2024. Ahead of the release, the Kolkata Police have summoned Wasim Rizvi, popularly known as Jitendra Narayan Singh.
