Rupali Ganguly of Anupama fame announced the death of her mother-in-law Sudarshan Verma on Sunday. The actress shared a note on her Instagram account and opened up about the news. The actress emphasized through her post that people should cherish their parents and grandparents as they are pure unconditional blessings.

Taking to Instagram, Rupali shared an old video in which her mother-in-law wished her grandson (Rupali's son) Rudransh a very happy birthday. Later we see the family get together as Rudransh cuts the cake in the presence of his grandmother. A few seconds of heart-wrenching video was wholesome. Sharing the video, Rupali wrote, “Rudransh's first birthday without the person who probably loves him more than his parents. Why did Krishna always pamper Dadi? Smt Sudarshan Verma… Your void will always be felt. Cherish parents and grandparents… pure unconditional selfless blessings. The actress also added grandson, grandmother and birthday hashtags.

Meanwhile, the reason behind Rupal's mother-in-law is yet to come out. However, as soon as the actress shared the post, fans expressed their condolences in the Instagram comment section. While one wrote, “May her soul rest in peace. She will forever be a guardian angel for her Rudransh.” Another comment read, “My condolences to you and your family, may God give you and your family strength in this difficult time Om Shanti Om.” A fan expressed his grief and wrote, “May the Almighty grant the noble and pious departed soul eternal peace. Heartfelt condolences to you and the entire Verma family.”

Coming to Rupali's work front, the actress has been entertaining people with her role as Anupama Kapadia in the serial Anupama. However, a set of online reports claim that the series will take a leap of four months and that Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna will leave the show after the leap. If reports are to be believed, actress Aurra Bhatnagar, who plays Aadhya in Anupama, was initially supposed to be replaced after the leap.

However, it seems that the makers have a plan that will undoubtedly satisfy the fans. Instead of exiting the show, Aurora is expected to be retained and portrayed as a college girl who falls in love with the male lead. Meanwhile, Rupali Ganguly, as Anupama, will be portrayed suffering from a serious illness and Anuj will do everything to arrange the funds required for her treatment.
