Reliance News: There has been a lot of good news for Anil Ambani-backed Reliance Power over the past two weeks. Reliance Power Maharatna became a multi-bagger faster than PSU NTPC and Power Grid Corporation after the company surged 56 per cent on the NSE (National Stock Exchange). According to the report, the reason for investors' renewed confidence in Reliance Power is its back-to-back fundraising proposals and significant debt reduction.

Reliance Power has touched back-to-back upper circuits. From September 18 to September 27, the private stock touched 8 upper circuits, with a total of 8 sessions. In these 8 trading days, Reliance Power's stock on the NSE rose by nearly 47 percent.

Reliance Power has been witnessing massive gains on BSE and NSE since September 12. Since then, shares of Reliance Power have gained a whopping 56.8 percent.

Reliance Power has emerged as a multi-bagger in its 1-year performance, driven by strong buying from September 12 to September 28. So far in 2024, the stock has also outperformed energy giants like NTPC and Power Grid.

YTD, Reliance Power rose by 93.53%, while in one year, the stock rose by 142.04%. Meanwhile, YTD and NTPC rose 42% and Power Grid rose 48.9%. In one year, NTPC grew by 85.74% and 76.66%.

NTPC and Power Grid grew more than Reliance Power between January 1 and September 11, 2024. NTPC gained 62.82 percent and Power Grid gained 67.14%, while Reliance Power gained only 53.95% by then.

In the 12 trading sessions from September 12 to September 28 this year, Reliance Power outperformed with a gain of 56.2%, compared to NTPC and Power Grid which gained only 7.9% and 4.75% respectively.
