TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh was recently asked to throw light on the incident when his parents reacted upon his return home. Scroll down to find more details.

Gurucharan Singh, known for his role in the TV show “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma”, caught the eye of the public when he was unexpectedly absent for about a month this year. After 25 days away from the spotlight, he made a comeback in Mumbai. Later, in a candid chat with Tele Talk, Gurucharan revealed his parents' reaction to his long disappearance and eventual return. During the interview, Gurucharan was asked what his parents' reaction was when he returned home. He then shared his answer. He said, “Raat ka samaya tha… ai bahar ayi mon mereko pehchaan hi nahi payi. Anhone andar jake bola dekho koi bahar aya to. Cuki Raat Ka Samay Tha, 2 Baj Rahe Honge. After that, daddy came and said, 'Aray ye to apna sonu hai!' (I came back home around 2 am. I rang the bell and mom came out. At first she didn't even recognize me. It was dark outside and very late. Then she asked my dad to come out and see. He said 'ha' our Son,') (sic).”

She continued, “She was so happy that she opened the door by pressing the button. I went up. Aur Phir Hum Kafi Dar Tak Tino Mill Ke Rote Rahe. Woh khushi ke ansu da (She was very happy and pressed the button to open the door. I went up. Then we three stood for a long time and cried. They were tears of happiness)! (sic).”

Gurucharan has confirmed his comeback and is all set to get back to work. He preferred to remain silent on whispers about his marital status. In due course, he plans to make a public announcement to clear up any misconceptions about his private life.

Gurucharan, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the TV series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, had booked a flight from Delhi to Mumbai on the evening of April 22. Unfortunately, he could not reach his desired destination. On his return to his Delhi residence, he was interrogated by the Delhi Police and his account was officially recorded in a local court.
