New Delhi: Delhi University on Saturday released the much awaited academic calendar for first year undergraduate students for the session 2024-2025. According to the schedule, the new batch of classes will start from August 29. The new session, which was initially scheduled to start from August 1, was postponed due to the delay in the declaration of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) marks due to allegations of irregularities. .

According to news agency PTI, the academic session of UG courses will end on June 7 next year with the commencement of final exams. The second session of the 2024-2025 UG batch will begin from January 27 next year after a two-day winter break.

The mock exams will begin on May 25, which also marks the last day of classes for the semester, with students taking a break to prepare for their final exams. Dispersal of classes usually takes place in the first week of May. The summer vacation of the students will start from June 29 and will continue till July 20 next year.
