In a video that went viral on social media, MS Dhoni and Sakshi Dhoni attended Ananth Ambani's wife Radhika Merchant's birthday party.

Cricket fans around the world are still waiting to hear whether Mahendra Singh Dhoni will play for Chennai Super Kings in the second season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, the former India and CSK captain and his wife Sakshi Dhoni were busy in Mumbai celebrating the birthday of Radhika Merchant, Anant Ambani's wife and 'Bahu' of Reliance owners Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani.

A video of MS Dhoni sitting at a table with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh and social media influencer Ori along with his wife Sakshi Dhoni at Radhika Merchant went viral on social media on Thursday night. Dhoni was seen sporting a new look and hairstyle at Radhika Merchant's bash.

Dhoni is yet to explain his decision to the CSK management regarding his future IPL plans. The deadline for retention for all 10 franchises is October 31. There is speculation that Dhoni could be retained as an 'uncapped' player as he last played for India in 2019 and as per the rules of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), a player who has played for India for any 5 years can be classified as an 'uncapped' player.

However, the BCCI's rules for retention allow 'uncapped' players to be retained at a maximum salary of Rs 4 crore. It will be interesting to see if Dhoni will agree to a huge salary cut of around Rs 8 crore to be retained by CSK.

Meanwhile, Radhika Merchant's birthday party was attended by many famous celebrities including Dhoni, as well as Bollywood stars Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. However, it was Radhika who grabbed everyone's attention with her stunning fashion choices.

Social media influencer Auri shared a glimpse of the birthday bash on his Instagram Stories, giving fans a sneak peek at the big fat birthday bash. In a video, Radhika is seen cutting the birthday cake with her husband Anant Ambani.

For the special occasion, Radhika (Ambani's younger daughter-in-law) wore a white silk halter-neck top with backless details, paired with a red skirt. Anant wore a black and gray sweatshirt with black pants. Radhika Merchant is the youngest daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant.

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani tied the knot on July 12 in Mumbai as per Hindu customs. The 'Shubh Ashirwad' ceremony was followed by a grand wedding ceremony on July 13, which was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and eminent religious leaders.
