New Delhi: Ukraine President Volodimir Zelensky has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Russian President Vladimir Putin, on the same day Russia's missile attacked the Ukraine's children's hospital, killing at least 37 people.

“The world's largest democracy leader is a great disappointment and a devastating shock to seeking the most bloody criminals in the world on such a day,” Zelensky said.

Volodymyr Zelensky posted on X: “A brutal Russian missile attack killed 37 people in Ukraine today, including three children, and injured 170, including 13 children. A Russian missile struck Ukraine's largest children's hospital, targeting young cancer patients. Many were buried under the pile. To see the leader of the world's largest democracy embrace the world's bloodiest criminal in Moscow on such a day is a great disappointment and a devastating blow to peace efforts.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on an official tour of Russia for the 22nd Annual Summit. He will be in Moscow from July 8 to 9 at the invitation of President Putin for the Indo-Russia Annual Summit on Tuesday.
