India fast bowler Mohammad Siraj clashed with Kusal Mendis in the third ODI as India look to level the series against Geoffrey Wanderers' six-wicket-led Sri Lanka.

New Delhi: India pacer Mohammad Siraj again lost his cool during a heated verbal argument with Kusal Mendis during the third ODI of the series at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, August 7.

In the 39th over, Siraj bowled a delivery that was placed a bit low on the off-side, and Mendis managed to get some batting, but no runs. After the delivery, Siraj took a few steps towards the batter, which led to an exchange of words between the two.

The Sri Lankan team has shown strong form in the 50-over series against India, currently leading the table after their recent win. The Indian team will try to bat strongly to level the series. However, Sri Lanka's bowling attack has been particularly challenged by their spinners.
