IRCTC News: Central Railway has announced 64 special trains for Ashadhi Ekadashi
The Maharashtra government on July 3 announced toll waiver for vehicles carrying devotees to the Pandharpur temple.
IRCTC News:, Central Railway (CR) on Tuesday announced the list of 64 special trains on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi. “For the convenience of devotees traveling for Ashadhi Ekadashi, 64 special trains will be operated,” Central Railway posted on X.

The Maharashtra government on July 3 announced toll waiver for vehicles carrying devotees to the Pandharpur temple. It is important to note that the toll exemption is applicable from July 3 to July 21.
Light and heavy vehicles transporting pilgrims and devotees are exempted from paying toll. Stickers and passes will be given to such vehicles. Officials have been asked to maintain highway security patrols near toll booths.
The government has also directed the authorities to repair the roads and highways leading to Pandharpur including Sion-Panvel Highway, Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway, Pune-Solapur and Pune-Satara-Solapur highways.
