Don't miss the X on the Century Live interview with Donald Trump and Elon Musk
Elon Musk is expected to have a friendly interview.
New Delhi: X owner Elon Musk is set to interview former US President Donald Trump on the social media platform on Tuesday morning (IST) in what the Trump campaign is calling the “interview of the century”.
Musk, a vocal supporter of the Republican presidential candidate, has endorsed Trump's re-election bid.
“This will be the interview of the century,” the Trump campaign said on X.
President Trump will be interviewed by Elon Musk tonight at 8pm Eastern.

To recall, Trump was permanently suspended from X in January 2021 when the social media platform was known as Twitter. The ban was lifted after Musk bought the platform. Trump's account was restored in August 2023.
After banning Twitter, Trump launched his own social media platform, Truth Social.
Donald Trump's account on X is @realDonaldTrump and his bio reads “The 45th President of the United States of America joined DonaldJTrump.com March 2009”.
As of 23:27 IST he has 88.1 million followers which is much more than him on Truth Social.
Platform X provides Trump with a significantly larger audience, Musk said 600 million monthly active users, compared to Truth Social's smaller base of 5 million monthly active users, as disclosed in its March 2024 IPO filing and reported by Axios. This significant disparity in user reach between Platform X and Truth Social is likely to be noted by Trump, who is known for focusing on audience size at his election rallies and events.
Elon Musk, known for his support of Trump, is expected to give a friendly interview. However, given the former president's reputation as a showman and his unpredictability, the interview is expected to be closely watched by both his aides and the Harris campaign.
Donald Trump had the upper hand in the 2024 presidential election until the current president, Joe Biden, entered the fray. The race has changed since Biden dropped out and endorsed Kama Harris.
Harris has energized the Democratic Party, raising more funds and leading at the polls, even in key battleground states.
