New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of CUET UG 2024. After NTA CUET UG Result, merit list will be prepared by participating universities/institutes. Universities will decide their individual counseling based on the scorecard of CUET(UG) – 2024 provided by NTA. UGC Chairman M Jagdesh Kumar shared a video in which he explained the admission process using CUET scores.
“It is once again admission time in universities across the country. For central universities, we use CUET scores for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs. UGC has sent out a standard procedure on how to use this CUET score for admission to various programs so that no seats are left vacant at the end of the admission process. When you do 1st, 2nd and 3rd round of admission using CUET score. UGC has advised universities to relax the subject criteria in CUET to fill up these vacancies if there are vacancies in some programmes. Even after this attempt, if seats are not filled in some programs, the university itself may conduct entrance exams at the university level and admit students so that all the seats in each program in your university are filled. We should not leave any space empty. Every space in our universities is precious. Universities should make all efforts to ensure that students are admitted to your university so that no seats are left unfilled,” the UGC chairman said.
