Russia-Ukraine Conflict: Two extra Indian residents, working as ‘safety helpers’ with the Russian Military, have been killed within the ongoing battle between Russia and Ukraine. In an announcement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) stated two Indian nationals, who had been recruited by the Russian Military, have been killed within the raging battle between Russia and Ukraine, including that New Delhi has pressed for the early launch and return of different Indian recruits.

“We remorse to state that two Indian nationals who had been recruited by the Russian Military have not too long ago been killed within the ongoing battle between Russia and Ukraine,” the MEA stated.

“We provide our deepest condolences to the households of the deceased. Our embassy in Moscow has pressed the Russian authorities, together with the Ministry of Defence, for early repatriation of mortal stays,” the MEA said.

Many Indian nationals have been working as safety helpers within the Russian navy, and so they had been pressured to battle with Russian troopers in sure areas alongside Russia’s border with Ukraine, in keeping with experiences.

India has strongly taken up the matter with Russia and sought early launch and return of all Indian nationals who’re with the Russian Military, the MEA stated.

“The Ministry of Exterior Affairs and the Indian embassy in Moscow have strongly taken up the matter with the Russian Ambassador in New Delhi and with Russian authorities in Moscow respectively, for early launch and return of all Indian nationals who’re with the Russian Military.”

It stated India has additionally demanded that there be a “verified cease to any additional recruitment of our nationals by the Russian Military. Such actions wouldn’t be in consonance with our partnership.”

“We additionally urge Indian nationals to train warning whereas searching for employment alternatives in Russia,” the MEA stated.
